American journalist Bob Woodward’s new book about Donald Trump's presidency, “Rage,” has been met with great controversy, in part because of how Woodward references 18 recorded conversations he had with the president. While Trump did consent to these conversations being recorded, it has raised questions over the legalities of recording conversations.
