Judge Peter Cahill issued his decision about the four defendants accused of killing George Floyd, finding there is probable cause for all of the charges except the charge of third-degree murder against Derek Chauvin. However, there are still a few pretrial issues to resolve, such as whether there will be a joint trial. Attorney Joe Tamburino explains the difference between a joint trial versus separate trials and Minnesota’s long-standing precedent of separate trials:
